21st Century Cannabis Biotechnology
Advanced FISH EMULSION Formula
Our Hydrolyzed fish emulsion is produced by a fermentation process using organic matter mixed with water, Kiawe white honey and Lactobacilli microbes which breaks down and releases the nutrients contained in the fish matter.
As it liquifies from the lactobacilli action, essential plant nutrients and new beneficial microorganisms (rhizobia, mycorrhizal fungi, actinomycetes and diazotrophic bacteria) are produced.
Kelp and marine derived Fulvic acid are added to create our FISH EMULSION formula.
Omega Genetix Fish Emulsion is specifically formulated for the needs of cannabis plants. Rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and a variety of trace minerals, which are vital for plant growth.
1. High Nitrogen Content
Nitrogen is one of the three primary macronutrients required for plant growth (along with phosphorus and potassium). It plays a key role in leaf and stem development.
Our Fish Emulsion has a high nitrogen-to-phosphorus-to-potassium (NPK) ratio, which promotes vigorous vegetative growth in cannabis plants.
During the vegetative stage, cannabis plants require high levels of nitrogen to support the rapid growth of leaves and stems. Fish emulsion provides this nitrogen in a readily available form, which helps cannabis plants grow quickly and healthily.
2. Promotes Healthy Root Growth
Fish Emulsion contains amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins and crucial for plant growth. Amino acids help with the formation of strong roots and contribute to the overall development of the plant.
These compounds can help stimulate root development, particularly important for young cannabis plants. The enhanced root growth helps the plant take up more nutrients from the soil and establishes a more robust root system.
3. Balanced Nutrients
Fish Emulsion is rich in trace minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium, sulfur, and iron, which are important for the general health and vitality of the plant.
By providing a complete nutrient profile, fish emulsion ensures that cannabis plants receive all the essential elements needed for balanced growth.
4. Improves Soil Health
Fish Emulsion improves soil structure and enhance the microbial life in the soil. The natural ingredients and organic compounds increase soil fertility by promoting the growth of beneficial microorganisms.
Beneficial bacteria in the soil can improve nutrient uptake by the plant and help break down organic matter, making nutrients more accessible to the roots. This is especially beneficial for cannabis plants grown in organic soil mixes where soil health is crucial for sustainable, healthy growth.
5. Organic and Eco-Friendly
Fish Emulsion is a natural, organic fertilizer, making it a great option for organic gardeners.
Since it is made from fish, it is an environmentally friendly choice.
It provides a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers, making it ideal for eco-conscious growers.
6. Helps Prevent Nutrient Deficiencies
Cannabis plants are susceptible to nutrient deficiencies, particularly when grown in containers or soil with limited nutrients.
Fish Emulsion helps prevent or correct nitrogen deficiencies, which can result in yellowing of leaves and stunted growth in cannabis plants. It is especially useful in early vegetative stages when the plant is growing rapidly and requires a lot of nitrogen.
7. Encourages Vigorous Growth
The high nitrogen content in fish emulsion promotes strong vegetative growth, making it particularly useful during the early stages of cannabis cultivation when the focus is on developing a healthy plant structure.
Strong leaf and stem growth help cannabis plants maximize their photosynthetic ability, which supports overall growth and vigor.
8. Helps With Stress Resistance
Fish Emulsion contains natural trace minerals and micronutrients that can help improve the plant's ability to handle environmental stresses, such as heat, drought, or pest attacks.
These nutrients help maintain plant health and can reduce the likelihood of stress-induced issues that could impact plant growth or bud production later in the life cycle.
KELP
Kelp is naturally rich in essential nutrients that cannabis plants need for growth and development. These include:
Macronutrients: Kelp contains potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and trace amounts of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P), which are all critical for plant health. Potassium, in particular, helps with flower production and overall plant metabolism.
Micronutrients: Kelp provides essential micronutrients such as iron, zinc, copper, manganese, boron, and molybdenum, which are crucial for proper enzyme function and overall plant health.
Trace Elements: Kelp also contains over 70 trace elements that are beneficial for cannabis plants, promoting nutrient uptake and improving the efficiency of the plant’s nutrient absorption system.
FULVIC ACID
1. Enhances Nutrient Uptake
Chelation: Fulvic acid binds with nutrients (such as iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc) in the soil and helps them enter the plant's root system more easily. This improves the plant's ability to take up essential nutrients from the soil.
It also helps to release locked nutrients that may be bound to soil particles, making them accessible to the plant.
2. Promotes Stronger Root Development
Fulvic acid stimulates root growth by improving soil conditions and increasing nutrient availability. It enhances the root’s ability to absorb water and nutrients.
3. Improves Soil Structure and Health
Soil aeration: Fulvic acid increases the porosity of the soil, promoting better oxygen flow to plant roots and reducing soil compaction.
Soil aggregation: Fulvic acid promotes the formation of aggregates, improving soil structure and helping the soil retain water and nutrients more effectively.
4. Enhances Plant Growth and Vigor
Growth hormones: Fulvic acid contains plant growth-promoting compounds such as auxins and cytokinins, which regulate processes like cell division and elongation. These hormones support faster plant growth and development.
Improved metabolism: By increasing nutrient absorption, fulvic acid enhances photosynthesis and cellular respiration, resulting in more efficient plant growth.
5. Improves Stress Tolerance
Water retention: Fulvic acid helps plants retain moisture, reducing the negative impact of drought and allowing plants to survive during dry periods.
Stress reduction: Fulvic acid can improve stress resilience by enhancing the plant's ability to cope with heat, cold, and nutrient deficiencies.
6. Boosts Photosynthesis and Chlorophyll Production
Increased energy production: With improved photosynthesis, plants can produce more energy, supporting stronger growth, more flowers or buds, and healthier plants.
Leaf health: Fulvic acid improves the color and vitality of plant leaves by promoting chlorophyll synthesis.
7. Enhances Microbial Activity in the Soil
Microbial stimulation: Fulvic acid encourages the growth of beneficial bacteria, fungi, and other soil microorganisms that help with nutrient cycling, nitrogen fixation, and disease suppression.
Soil fertility: By improving microbial activity, fulvic acid helps create a healthy soil ecosystem, leading to improved nutrient cycling and soil fertility.
8. Detoxifies and Cleanses the Soil
Heavy metal detoxification: Fulvic acid can help neutralize heavy metals like cadmium, lead, and arsenic, making the soil less toxic to plants.
9. Increases Plant Yield and Quality
Larger yields: Fulvic acid promotes better flowering, fruiting, and overall plant productivity, leading to higher yields in cannabis crops.
Improved crop quality: The improved health and vitality of plants result in healthier, more robust flowers or fruit, with enhanced flavor, nutrient content, and resilience to disease.
10. Increases Soil pH Buffering Capacity
pH balance: Fulvic acid helps to ensure that the soil's pH stays within the ideal range for cannabis plant growth. It helps prevent nutrient lockout that can occur when soil pH is too high or too low.
